For over 30 years I have been a player, umpire and coach at all levels of baseball and softball. A player, umpire and coach in the Dixie Youth Baseball League, also forming and coaching teams in the Church Softball Leagues in Georgia, I then moved to the Washington, DC area in 1989.

I have been playing and coaching in Maryland for the last 21 years with Little League Baseball, Little League Softball, ASA Softball and as a player/coach in the Ponce de Leon Adult Baseball Leagues. Championships include State, State-Runner Ups, Four League Championships, and Two-League Championship Runner-ups in the past 5 years.

The past two years, as Head Coach of the Montgomery College Program, NJCAA Div III, we have produced 5 All-Region and one All-American candidate, We have gone from last to third place in our division. I am also the pitching/catchers coach for the Elite 18u Free State Phantoms Women's Fastpitch Team which has the top players Montgomery County has to offer. I work closely with ASA and coaches to promote coaches certification & training to improve the sport. I am a member of NFCA, hold certifications from Little League, Babe Ruth Softball & Ripken Baseball, ASA/ACE Certification, Pony Softball, ASFA and others. I am currently authoring a book on hitting, pitching and defensive theory.

I work with baseball and softball players on strength and conditioning, with pitchers & catchers, and players for general fielding and baserunning.
